For about two centuries D’Alessandro family has a great passion for land. Today we want to keep that passion looking ahead.
Thus, after several years of study, research and skills improvement, IL BOSCO IN BIO is born, an excellence project combining tradition and innovation.
The tradition to keep our family farm business and the innovation to create a breeding model oriented to the top of animal welfare in total respect of bioethics.
the territory
IL BOSCO IN BIO farm is located in the heart of Molise. About 44 hectares in an unspoilt area ideal for high quality farming. Our area is really precious regarding nature and biodiversity, it is preserved by no pollution and low population density.
Furthermore, there are no motorways, railways and industrial settlements. Main farm activity is the wild and free range breeding of pigs.
Our animals live in the woods, feeding on herbs, acorns, tubers, roots and wild fruits. Their nutrition is completed with farm-produced organic flours. Our farming and products are strictly organic.

IL BOSCO IN BIO was born with the aim of producing healthy and genuine cured meats from grazing, a model totally different than the industrial breeding that compromise animal dignity, organoleptic characteristics and healthiness of meat.
Our breeding respects the biological cycle of animals. We carefully choose our partners according to the best certified quality standards and we always carry out rigorous control over the entire business production cycle.
